Diversifying income sources beyond traditional farming is essential for rural economic resilience and reducing agrarian distress. Agri-allied businesses—including livestock management, processing units, and value-added enterprises—create sustainable livelihoods while strengthening the agricultural value chain. By promoting entrepreneurship and providing technical support, we enable farming communities to maximize returns and achieve financial stability throughout the year.
Animal Health Awareness and Veterinary Camp
Since 2012, the organization has been conducting annual animal health awareness and veterinary camps across Chandrapur, Wardha, and Nagpur districts to promote better livestock care practices among the farming community. These camps are organized in collaboration with the Animal Husbandry Department and District Veterinary Hospitals. The organization manages publicity, logistics, and overall arrangements, while veterinary hospital staff provide medical examinations and treatment. During these camps, livestock health assessments are conducted and necessary medication is administered to sick animals. Farmers also receive counseling on managing common livestock ailments such as Tondkhuri (foot and mouth disease), Paykhuri (hoof problems), and guidance on vaccination schedules and preventive care measures.
