About The project

Women in rural communities possess immense potential that often remains untapped due to limited access to skill development, economic opportunities, and social empowerment platforms. The Mahila Vikas Kendra addresses this disparity by creating a dedicated space for women’s holistic development—where economic independence meets social empowerment. This center serves as a catalyst for transformation, enabling women and young girls to break free from traditional constraints, acquire marketable skills, and become self-reliant contributors to their families and communities.

Project Interventions:

  • Economic and Social Empowerment – Establish the Mahila Vikas Kendra as a comprehensive development hub focused on enhancing the economic capabilities and social standing of women and young girls in Wanjulshet village.
  • Multi-Skill Training Programs – Empower women and adolescent girls through structured training in diverse vocational skills including tailoring, handicrafts, beauty services, food processing, computer literacy, and entrepreneurship—equipping them with practical abilities for income generation and financial independence.

Through the Mahila Vikas Kendra, we nurture a generation of empowered women who are economically self-reliant, socially confident, and equipped to make informed decisions about their lives. By investing in women’s development, we strengthen entire families and communities—creating ripple effects of prosperity, education, and progressive social change that transcend generations.
