About The project
Environmental degradation and loss of indigenous vegetation threaten ecological balance, biodiversity, and community well-being. The “Jeevan” Tree Plantation project represents a commitment to ecological restoration through strategic plantation of native species that support local ecosystems while engaging communities in environmental stewardship. This initiative goes beyond mere tree planting—it cultivates environmental consciousness and long-term ecological resilience.
Project Interventions:
- Indigenous Species Restoration – Plant 1,250 carefully selected indigenous plant species chosen for their ecological significance, adaptive resilience, and vital contribution to preserving and enhancing local biodiversity.
- Expanding Green Cover – Increase vegetation density and strengthen the ecological resilience of the targeted area, creating natural habitats, improving air quality, and restoring environmental balance in the region.
- Environmental Awareness and Education – Raise community awareness about the critical importance of indigenous plant species and their irreplaceable role in sustaining healthy ecosystems, water conservation, and climate regulation.
- Community Engagement and Ownership – Foster active community participation in plantation activities, nurturing a collective sense of ownership, responsibility, and long-term commitment toward environmental conservation and sustainable natural resource management.
Through the “Jeevan” initiative, we aim to create a thriving green corridor that not only restores ecological health but also empowers communities to become active guardians of their natural environment, ensuring sustainable benefits for present and future generations.
